Drones and Ethics: Student Research in Scheveningen
Studenten van de minor Digital Ethics onderzochten hoe drones verantwoord kunnen worden ingezet in het Haagse kustgebied. Drie deelstudies richtten zich op dronegebruik in natuurgebieden, surveillancedrones in de haven en datadeling door transportdrones op zee. De belangrijkste conclusie: transparantie en duidelijke afspraken zijn noodzakelijk voor verantwoord gebruik van drones in de openbare ruimte.
Scheveningen welcomes the European Robotics League 2026
Next year, Scheveningen will become the stage for the European Robotics League (ERL), a leading European event celebrating innovation in robotics and smart technology. The 2026 edition is hosted by the Municipality of The Hague, in close collaboration with euRobotics, the Province of South Holland, and the cities of Rotterdam and Delft.
