improve safety and quality of life in cities. For example, sensors that detect unrest on the street or data analysis to spot criminal activities. Often, these are separate initiatives, where technical, legal and ethical questions must be addressed again and again.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Within SHIELD, the police and the municipality work together in one physical location on innovations that improve safety in the city.
