It also seeks to increase public engagement and build support. An interactive approach was chosen, using the mobile phone as an accessible and user-friendly tool.<\/p><p data-start=\"257\" data-end=\"478\">In 2022, a first version of the app was tested using QR codes on smart light poles during tours and events. In early 2023, further development began, resulting in an updated version of the app released midway through the year.<\/p><p data-start=\"480\" data-end=\"754\">The new version made it possible to take a self-guided interactive tour without the need for QR codes. It also introduced quiz questions and activities that encouraged visitors to think about the opportunities and limitations of a smart city. Uit een viertal inzendingen is het bedrijf Edumersive als winnende partij gekozen.
