Special attention is given to the materials used in solar panels, as many existing panels contain PFAS or heavy metals. For the Municipality of The Hague, this provides a reason to work together with partners on a more sustainable and efficient energy solution. The initiative aims to reduce environmental impact and supports the principles of the circular economy. It looks at safety, required permits, insurance, and possible risks, with special attention to how the panels perform under the weather conditions at the Scheveningen boulevard.<\/p><p data-start=\"488\" data-end=\"727\">In addition, experience is gained with product passports. The partnership started within the Startup in Residence (SIR) programme and brings together knowledge and practical experience to explore new sustainable energy solutions.<\/p><p data-start=\"483\" data-end=\"721\">As part of this cooperation, circular solar panels are tested in public spaces in The Hague.
